Hailing from the scenic landscape of the Blue Ridge Mountains, the String Bandits take listeners on a musical journey through the rich roots of Appalachian music. From the high energy, foot-stomping tunes of bluegrass, to the timeless classics of country and rock, their diverse repertoire ensures that every listener will find something to love.

For anyone looking to start their parkway trip from Asheville, the visitor center is a must-see. Milepost Music concerts are held the fourth Sunday of each month, June through September.

The Blue Ridge Music Center’s Milepost Music brings free concerts by local and regional artists to locations along the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway. No tickets are needed. Bring a chair and a picnic lunch. No alcohol permitted on site.
