Fridley is an singer, bassist, and educator from Asheville, N.C. Over her 20-plus year career, her music has evolved to embrace all styles of traditional country, blues, folk, and jazz. She is a published songwriter, recording artist, and bandleader, singing and performing in western North Carolina since 1992.
Davis, still in her teens, has already received acclaim for her clawhammer banjo playing. She is a two-time recipient of the IBMA Fletcher Bright Memorial Scholarship to Béla Fleck’s Blue Ridge Banjo Camp where she was also selected to perform before the entire assemblage.

For anyone looking to start their parkway trip from Asheville, the visitor center is a must-see. Milepost Music concerts are held the fourth Sunday of each month, June through September.

The Blue Ridge Music Center’s Milepost Music brings free concerts by local and regional artists to locations along the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway. No tickets are needed. Bring a chair and a picnic lunch. No alcohol permitted on site.
