Midday Mountain Music with Lovely Mountaineers
First Saturday of every month
12-3 p.m. | Covered Breezeway at Blue Ridge Music Center
Admission Free
Gina and Jason Dilg of Lovely Mountaineers are based in the rolling hills of Southwest Virginia, and play the foot-stomping dance tunes and old country ballads of the American string band repertoire. Both multi-instrumentalists, they love performing for country dances as much as putting on concerts. These days they can be found performing as both a duo and as part of the Agents of Old Time supporting Fiddling Earl White.
Gina’s exhibit Half-Tone Folk Heroes can be viewed in the Luthier Shop through October. Join the us for an opening reception from 3 to 4 p.m. Light refreshments provided.
