The Blue Ridge region is rich with young musical talent. Join us for a  special Youth Showcase featuring several local groups, ranging in age from 7 to 17!

Artists include The Hazy Mountain Stringband from Boones Mill, Virginia, Bransen Shore & Tyler Turner – students in the Grayson County High School Stringband class, singer-songwriter Mikey Schott from eastern North Carolina and Elk Creek, Virginia, The Biscuit Eaters from Surry County, North Carolina, and more!

Come on out to hear some old-time, bluegrass, folk, and country from these talented young musicians.

About Midday Mountain Music

Midday Mountain Music is a FREE informal music presentation featuring local and regional artists. Midday Music is held noon – 4 p.m. on the covered open-air breezeway, every day the Blue Ridge Music Center visitor center is open. Join us for a few minutes or the whole afternoon. No tickets are needed.
