Hillsville Ukulele Group (HUG) was created by Lacy Griffith and Penny Moseley in 2019 as a mission for Hillsville Presbyterian Church’s Youth Group.  It soon grew into a community jam group, multigenerational, multi-instrument, and for all skill levels, currently enjoying more than 20 active members. HUG plays a wide variety of music from Blue Grass and Gospel to Pop and Rock & Roll.

HUG’s focus is on spreading kindness through music, performing at assisted living homes, community centers, churches, hospitals, and schools.

Midday Mountain Music is a FREE informal music presentation featuring local and regional artists. Midday Mountain Music is held from 12-3 p.m. on the covered breezeway every day the Blue Ridge Music Center visitor center is open. Join us for a few minutes or the whole afternoon. No tickets needed.
