Stay All Night is an old-time and bluegrass string band from Central Virginia led by fiddler Bill Wellington. Wellington is a renowned caller at hoedowns and contra dances and the group’s lively music brings a toe-tapping good time.Â

There is so much to do at Peaks of Otter. Visitors can camp or stay the night at the historic lodge, dine in the restaurant, tour Johnson Farm and Polly Wood’s Ordinary, take a stroll around Abbott Lake, hike a trail, or take in a concert. Milepost Music concerts are held the second Sunday of the month, June through September, near the banks of Abbott Lake. In case of rain, concerts may be moved to the event room at the restaurant.

The Blue Ridge Music Center’s Milepost Music brings free concerts by local and regional artists to locations along the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway. No tickets are needed. Bring a chair and a picnic lunch. No alcohol permitted on site.
