Matching Opportunity
Right now, your gift to the Blue Ridge Music Center could have twice the impact!
Gifts to make transformative improvements at the Blue Ridge Music Center will be doubled by a $170,000 grant from the National Park Foundation, doubling your gift dollars!
Your gift today will help to ensure that this exciting hub for mountain music remains a welcoming place for years to come. Every donation, no matter the amount, brings us closer to reaching our goal and meeting the match. Your gift today will:
- Repair masonry seating and retaining walls, sidewalks and curbs to improve safety and extend the operational life of this infrastructure
- Provide audio equipment to play traditional mountain music on the breezeway and in front of the Visitor Center and Luthier Shop
- Expand public Wi-Fi at the museum and visitor center
- Upgrade lighting in the outdoor amphitheater
Please give today so your donation will be matched dollar for dollar.
P.S. If you donate $250 or more towards this project you will receive a special commemorative patch. For those who donate $500 or more, they will receive the patch plus a Blue Ridge Music center poster designed by Logan Schmidt.
Family Fun Day
Join us for a free Family Fun Day for all ages, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday, May 17, at the Music Center. Activities include performances by youth and mentor bands, an instrument petting zoo, a youth jam, museum scavenger hunt, art activities, and guided hikes.
The day wraps up with a free concert by Grammy Award winners Cathy Fink and Marcy Marxer in the indoor theater. Their superb harmonies are backed by instrumental virtuosity. The two are trailblazers in children’s music and have been connecting families through tunes for more than 30 years.

Sponsorships
Sponsors are vital support for the musical programming at the Blue Ridge Music Center. When you become a sponsor, you’re keeping mountain music alive and gaining exposure for your business or organization.
We have several types of sponsorships to support the Roots of American Music summer concert series. These include sponsorships of the entire season, individual concerts, and the annual Summer Concert Guide.
